Media Release: The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is Currently Investigating a Homicide.

On November 19, 2017 at 10:50 PM, the Emergency Communications Center received a 9-1-1 call for a vehicle accident in the 11300 block of Dogwood Drive, Hagerstown.

When units arrived on scene, they located a deceased person inside the vehicle. It appears the deceased had been shot.

The deceased was transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Baltimore for autopsy.

Deputies remained on scene until approximately 3:30 AM.

At this time, the deceased information is not being released.

The investigation into this incident is on-going.
