Media Release:

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is attempting to identify a suspect in reference to a fraud and theft investigation that occurred on May 28, 2018.

The suspect traded counterfeit gold coins for an expensive Rolex Watch that was listed for sale on Craigslist.

The suspect presented a fake South Carolina Driver’s License and a bogus phone number to the victim.
