Media Release:

On January 9, 2023 at approximately 5:45 AM, Deputies responded to the 300 block of E. Potomac Street Williamsport, MD, for a motor vehicle collision with a pedestrian involved.

On arrival, Deputies located an adult female pedestrian in the roadway. Life saving measure were administered, but unfortunately the female was deceased at the scene.

Through the course of the initial investigation, it was determined the vehicle, a 2013 GMC truck, was traveling North on East Potomac Street when it struck the female. The female was crossing the roadway when she was struck.

An Accident Reconstructionist was called to the scene and the investigation into this incident is on-going. Further information is not available.
