What is the Day Reporting Center?
Washington County Sheriff’s Office’s Day Reporting Center is an alternative to incarceration. It is an on-site, nonresidential, program that is designed to change an offender’s adverse thinking patterns and attitudes, improve job skills and job retention.
Who is eligible?
- Washington County residents
- No current or prior crimes of violence
- No current detainers or pending charges
- Substance related disorders may have a mental health disorder
- Must be sentenced to the Washington County Detention Center by Washington County courts
- Sentence must be a minimum of eight months
- Waive confidentiality
- Consent to medication assisted treatment using Vivitrol
- Consent to all monitoring electronic or otherwise
- Satisfy both the criminal background, clinical and criminogenic assessment
- Stable living environment
What will the program offer?
The program will blend a high level of community supervision, with intensive case management, intensive treatment for substance related disorders in group and individual settings, medication assisted treatment using Vivitrol, random alcohol and drug testing, and job training for those with inadequate work skills and lack of stable employment, life and soft skills, financial education, step study, coaching and pro-social supports. The program will refer individuals to community providers for mental health services and medication management.
