The Washington County Sheriff’s Office Crime Prevention/Community Relations Unit offers Security Surveys to the citizens and businesses within Washington County. The Security Surveys are free of charge. The purpose of a security survey is to assess the overall security of a physical property, identify security weakness, and provide recommendations to enhance safety and security for the property occupant. While following the recommendations in whole or part will not guarantee a crime proof home, all of the suggestions are based on proven crime prevention principals.
