On August 6, 2023, at approximately 9:30 PM, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 1500 block of Dual Highway, Hagerstown, MD, for a personal injury collision involving a pedestrian.

It was determined that an adult female pedestrian was struck by a vehicle. The vehicle then fled the scene.

The struck female is currently at R. Adams Crowley Shock Trauma Center in critical but stable condition.
