MEDIA RELEASE:

In the upcoming weeks during the evening hours, Deputies of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting Sobriety Checkpoints at unspecified locations within Washington County.

The goal is to reduce the number of drunk and drugged drivers on Washington County roadways and to educate the public regarding Maryland DUI laws.

The Sheriff’s Office will be conducting additional Sobriety Checkpoints throughout the year.
