Media Release:

On March 5, 2018 at 07:57 AM, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to Conservit, Inc., 18656 Leslie Drive, Hagerstown, in reference to a death.

After the initial investigation it has been determined that a vehicle, being transported on a folk lift, slipped off the fork lift and struck an employee. The employee was deceased at the scene of the incident.

The incident has been determined to be accidental.  Maryland Occupational Safety and Health (MOSHA) responded to the scene of the accident. Wind does not appear to be a factor.

The deceased will be transported to the Office of the Medical Examiner for autopsy.
