The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a Bank Robbery.

On June 5, 2017 at approximately 09:45 AM, Deputies responded to the M & T Bank, 121 S. Mill Street, Clear Spring, for a reported robbery.

The suspect entered the bank and demanded cash from the tellers. The suspect did not display a weapon. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money the suspect fled the area.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6’, 140-150 lbs. The male was wearing khaki pants, a black zip up hoodie with a blue “23” on it and a purple/maroon colored ladies wig.
