On September 7, 2022, at approximately 7:40 PM, Deputies from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to Kellys Lane, Hagerstown, MD, for a reported shooting.

One male was transported to the hospital with what is considered life-threatening injuries from a gunshot wound. This is a domestic-related incident, and there is no current threat to the public.

The incident remains under investigation; no further information is available for release at this time.
