The Washington County Sheriff’s Office currently has openings for Patrol Deputy Positions. The next testing dates are September 10 and 11, 2018.
The Patrol Division is the law enforcement arm of the Sheriff’s Office. Patrol Deputies enforce all criminal and traffic laws in Washington County.
Entry Level Salary: $43,520
Lateral Salary: $47,320

Minimum qualifications include but are not limited too; minimum age of 21 at time of appointment or at time of graduation from entrance level training, U. S. citizenship, possess a high school diploma or G.E.D., possess a valid driver’s license, no felony convictions, able to pass Maryland Police Training Commission drug use standards, able to pass pre-employment competitive testing (written, physical and oral examinations), pass a comprehensive background investigation, pass medical, agility, drug and psychological testing and pass all phases of the Physical Fitness and Handgun Familiarizations Tests.
